Based in  Masterton, Wairarapa DHB's Public health Unit  provides a range of services including:

• Oral Health Services (formerly the School dental service)
• Vision hearing technicians
• National immunisation register coordination
• Health protection
• Healthy homes nursing assessments
• Health promotion
• Health information and resources
• Public heath nursing
• Pacific community health
• Communicable disease nursing

The Public Health Unit maintains an extensive supply of health information resources, to support interested groups, students, or members of the public who need accurate and accessible health information.
